Join us for a 2-day masterclass in acting and auditions. Whether you are looking to develop skills for your BTEC, GCSE or A-level, interested in applying for drama school, or you're keen to learn how to create self-tapes and prepare for professional auditions, this masterclass is where to be! You will work with an industry professional who can adapt to your needs, and help you to master your skills. It is advisable to bring a monologue, or duologue. If you are struggling with this, some will be provided. Upon completion of this course, you will leave with a self-tape ready to support drama school/university applications and/or auditions. Additional support about how to get an agent, what to look out for, safeguarding and career guidance will also be explored.
Camp notes
Our Young Creatives will need to bring their own packed lunch (no nuts) and plenty of water to keep hydrated.
They should wear something comfortable for rehearsal -shorts, leggings, jeans etc
There will be a no phones policy during session, apart from when directed by Workshop Leader.
There is free parking in the car park of the school, and come to the main entrance on day one where you will be met at either 8am for wrap around care or 9am for workshop start.
